Danton Eeprom

Danton's intense, haunting dancefloor sound has taken the underground music scene by storm in the early 2010's, with instant successes such as "Grindhouse" and " ̈Confessions Of An English Opium Eater" reaching classic status over the years and becoming a permanent fixture in many top DJ sets list to this day. In a world as volatile as electronic music, this is a testament to the London-based Frenchman's ability to make a lasting impression while staying faithful to the spirit of rebellion he distills both on record and on stage.

And just like his famous counterpart over two centuries ago, Danton seems to crop up when a revolution is badly needed. Well if you ask him, 2022 is allegedly a good time to lock up the complacent copy/paste music makers and throw away the USB key. Cue in the counter-measures: make a new breed of cut-throat techno tip toeing on the verge of lunacy, and « Rock The Casbah » proper, before it turns into a sterile holiday home for fickle Instagrammers even further. Danton will happily do that for you, at the risk of having his head chopped off, once more.

Danton Eeprom on the label´s first compilation “Black Ink”, released in April 2022, available digitally and on vinyl.
